Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
WebhookLane is operated by Kugie ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the WebhookLane platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
2. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you sign in via a third-party provider (e.g., GitHub), we receive your profile information from that provider.
Webhook data. When webhooks are received by the Service, we temporarily store the HTTP headers and payload body to route, transform, and deliver them to your configured destinations. Event data is retained according to your plan's retention period and then permanently deleted.
Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, event volumes, and error rates. This helps us improve reliability and performance.
Device and log data. We automatically collect IP addresses, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs when you access the Service.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- To process and deliver webhook events to your configured destinations
- To send you account-related communications (e.g., security alerts, billing updates)
- To monitor and analyze usage trends to improve the Service
- To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or technical issues
- To comply with legal obligations
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We use third-party services for hosting, analytics, and email delivery. These providers only access data necessary to perform their functions and are bound by contractual obligations to protect it.
- Webhook destinations. Webhook payloads are forwarded to the destinations you configure. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those endpoints.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
5. Data Retention
Webhook event data is retained for the duration specified by your plan (e.g., 7 days for Free, 30 days for Pro, 90 days for Enterprise) and then permanently deleted. Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, token-based authentication for ingest URLs, and access controls for internal systems. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookie settings through your browser.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
